KEITH JARRETT "BORDEAUX CONCERT"

Jazz And Wine Bordeaux Festival is deeply honoured to announce the release  of the new KEITH JARRETT "BORDEAUX CONCERT" by the iconic ECM label, recorded on July 6, 2016 during the opening concert of the Jazz And Wine Bordeaux festival. 

We'd like to express our profound gratitude to Keith Jarrett and the ECM label for choosing this superb concert as their new release - a unique performance for the 10th Anniversary of our festival by one of the most essential artists in the jazz history. 

It was Keith Jarrett only concert in France, and one of the seven he gave through the world in 2016.

Après avoir déjà accueilli Keith Jarrett et Herbie Hancock, Jazz And Wine Bordeaux a le grand plaisir d'inviter l'immense pianiste RICHIE BEIRACH.

Il constitue "le 4ème as" de cette génération magique avec Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett et Chick Corea.

Disciple de Bill Evans, dont il était très proche, il forge ses premières armes aux côtés de Stan Getz, puis de Chet Baker. Sa carrière personnelle décbute lorsqu'il signe sur le prestigieux label ECM à 26 ans. Il co-dirige des formations aussi historiques que le groupe "Quest" avec David Liebman ou le quartet qu'il créé avecle guitariste John Abercrombie.

Richie Beirach est une voix majeure du Jazz contemporain.

Maître de l'harmonie, il excelle dans l'art du piano solo où il fait preuve d'un lyrisme et d'un romantisme sans équivalent.

Richie Beirach est un "Steinway Artist".
